September, 2011
2010/2011 has been a busy couple of years for Alex Ryder. She spent the early part of the year planning her CD, listening to original songs and writing and co-writing her own tunes. Once the selections were made she was off and running with arrangers/ producers Joe Turner and Carey Blackwell.
While nearing the end of the CD's production she was offered the extraordinary opportunity to work with renowned producers Adam and Alex Anders (most famous for their recent work on Glee) at Chalice Studios in L.A. They were working on the title track of her CD called Won’t You Listen. The song written by Canadians Robert W. Blackwell and Carey Blackwell is an absolutely radio-friendly pop-rocker sure to garner Alex even more fans.
She just had time to catch her breath back in Canada when she flew back to L.A. to meet with Ellen DeGeneres and her team.
Alex’s CD release was an incredible success, the club packed with hundreds of her friends and fans who witnessed classic Alex Ryder, the rocker who is also a dynamic and riveting performer.
In order to showcase Alex’s incredible stage presence, plans are underway to film a Won’t You Listen video.

SUMMER 2010
I am so fortunate to have a great management team, amazing producer and wonderful fans!
This past August, I went to LA with my producer, Joe Turner, and one of the most spectacular musician/songwriters I have had the privilege to work with - Carey Blackwell. We went to Chalice Studios to record the vocal track for my new album (due out this fall). This track is the best of the best work I have ever done...and it was an honour to work with reknowned producer, Adam Anders, along with my team to ensure my performance is all that it can be.
I will soon be heading back to Hollywood to meet with Ellen Degeneres and present her with my new album. I'll keep you posted on any developments.
Thank you to all my fans again for their continued support and believing in me. I hope you’ll all be just as excited about this album as I am when it’s out and you’ll order a copy. Please stay tuned for when I come back and I’ll let all my fans know how fantastic this experience was.
Luv Alex
